Rosberry Beauty Salon

Running a salon like Rosberry Beauty Salon here at 25, New Mla Quarters keeps us pretty busy. We are right in the Jawahar Chowk area of Bhopal, not far from Unique College at all. Most days start with us setting out the combs and checking the water heaters. It’s a cozy space, nothing too big, but we have enough chairs for everyone. You can usually find us chatting with the students who walk over from the college for a quick trim or a bit of threading between their classes. The neighborhood is fairly active, so there’s always something happening outside the door. We’ve been at this spot for a while now, and the walls have been painted a few times to keep things looking decent. It’s not one of those high-end places where you feel uncomfortable walking in with dusty shoes. We just do hair and skin stuff for the people around Bhopal. Sometimes the tea man from the corner brings over a few cups while we wait for the next person to walk in. Being near the Mla Quarters means we see a lot of different faces every day. It’s practical work. We spend a lot of time sweeping up hair and cleaning the mirrors. It’s just a normal shop where people come to look a bit neater before they head off to a wedding or a job interview.
