Our shop is in the Annapurna Complex on Nehru Nagar Road. We’re quite close to the Jivan Vihar Complex and the P N T Chouraha, which is a busy intersection. It’s a place for both men and women, which keeps things interesting. One side is for the ladies and the other is for the men. It can get a bit hectic during wedding season or festivals. We’ve been in Bhopal for a few years now. The lighting inside is a bit bright, but it helps us see what we’re doing. We have a few mirrors that are slightly cracked at the edges, but they still work. People come in for a quick trim or a hair wash. We don't have a big staff, so sometimes there is a wait. We use standard products that you find in most shops. It’s not a luxury place, just a standard parlour for the neighborhood people. The tea stall nearby usually brings us some chai in the afternoon. We like chatting with the customers about what’s happening in Nehru Nagar. It’s a simple life running a shop like this. We open early and close when the last customer leaves. It’s just a basic service we provide to the people living around the complex. We don't try to be anything we are not. It's just a place to get groomed and go home.
