Vinod Salon

If you are walking down Chhola Road in Bhanpur, you will see Vinod Salon. We are at Shop No-13, right by the Estate Bank ATM, which makes it easy to spot. It’s a small shop. I started this place a few years back because I knew how to cut hair. The space isn't huge, but it's enough for a few chairs. We get a lot of guys from the Chola Road area coming in for shaves and hair trims. It's usually busy in the mornings before people go to work. The ATM next door is a good landmark for people who haven't been here before. We don't have fancy decorations. Just some pictures on the wall and a couple of fans to keep it cool. Bhopal 462001 is where we live and work. It's a decent spot. Sometimes the power goes out, so we keep manual clippers ready. We don't do anything complicated. If you want a standard cut, that is what we do. My younger brother helps out on Saturdays. We know most of the shopkeepers around here. It’s a community. We use basic soaps and creams. Nothing too pricey. It’s just a regular local salon. We don't spend money on flyers. People just see the sign and come in. It’s a bit dusty outside because of the road work that never seems to finish, but we sweep the floor every hour to keep it decent. That's how we run things here. We have a small radio that plays local stations and it helps pass the time.
