The Tavern

You can find us at The Tavern, which is located inside the Kwality Motel Shiraz in Shivaji Nagar, Bhopal. It is a fairly well-known spot in the area. We have been here for quite some time now. The building itself is older, and we have stayed pretty much the same over the years. We have a bar area and some tables where people can sit and have a meal. It is not a very bright place. We keep the lights low. A lot of our customers are people who live nearby or are staying at the motel for a night or two. We see the same faces quite often. The staff is just a small group of us. We have worked together for a long time, so we know how things go. We don’t have any big goals or missions. We just want to make sure the food is okay and the drinks are cold. Sometimes the air conditioner is a bit loud, but it keeps the place cool during the Bhopal summers. We just do our daily work of cleaning the tables and stocking the shelves. It’s a quiet life for the most part. Shivaji Nagar is a busy place, but once you come inside, it’s a bit more relaxed. We are just a regular part of the neighborhood. People know where we are, and they come in when they need a break. It is a steady place for us to work every single day.
