Agarwal Restaurant

If you know New Market in Bhopal, you know how busy it gets around TT Nagar. Our restaurant is right at number 01, so we see everyone passing by. We started this place because we wanted to be in the middle of things. The floor is easy to clean, and the tables are the heavy kind that don't move much. It gets really noisy in the afternoons when students and office workers come in for their break. We don't spend much time on decorations. There’s a counter where we take the money, and the kitchen is right behind it. Sometimes the light bulbs flicker a bit, but we just change them when they go out. We've got a few big windows that look out onto the street. It’s interesting to watch the city change over the years from this spot. We don't have a fancy menu or anything like that. Everything is written on a board or a simple paper. Our staff has been with us for a while, and they know where everything is kept. On Sundays, the whole area is packed with families out for shopping, so we stay on our feet for most of the shift. We just try to keep the tables clean and the food coming out on time. It’s just a normal restaurant doing its daily business in a very crowded part of town.
