Anchu

Anchu is our small place located at 195/C on Nen Road in the Indrapuri area of Bhopal. We are right by the Negis Girls Hostel and very close to the RK Hospital. This location means we have a lot of different people coming through our doors every single day. We get many students from the hostel who are looking for a meal that is simple and doesn't cost them too much money. We also see many families who are visiting their relatives at the hospital and just need a quiet place to sit for a while. Nen Road is always a bit chaotic with all the traffic and people walking back and forth. Our shop is quite plain with just the basic necessities like tables and chairs. We don't have air conditioning, so the big ceiling fans are always running to keep the air moving as much as possible. It is a family-run business, so we do all the daily work ourselves without any outside help. Sometimes it gets a bit overwhelming when a large group of students comes in all at once after their classes, but we do our best to handle the rush. The kitchen is right there in the back and you can hear the sounds of us cooking all through the day. We don't have any brochures or fancy marketing materials to show people. We just rely on being in a good spot for the locals.
