The Gunnery Bar And Restaurant

You can find us on the second floor of the C-21 Mall. We’re located on Hoshangabad Road in Bhopal. The Gunnery Bar And Restaurant has been here for a bit now. Being inside a mall means we have to follow their rules about when to open and close. It's a different vibe than being on the street. We get a lot of shoppers who are tired and just want to sit down for a bit. We serve drinks and food. It’s not a very quiet place, especially on Friday nights when everyone in Bhopal seems to be out. We have a few guys working the bar and a small crew in the kitchen. It’s a lot of cleaning glasses and making sure the tables are wiped down. We don't use any fancy talk to describe what we do. We just run a bar and a kitchen. Sometimes the music is a bit loud, but that’s what people expect here. We see the same faces every week from the 462011 area. We don't have a mission statement. We just show up, open the doors, and start the day. Hoshangabad Road is always busy with traffic, so being inside the mall is a bit of an escape from the dust outside. We deal with broken glasses and spilled drinks like any other place. It’s just part of the job. We try to keep the atmosphere relaxed. It's just a normal spot for people to hang out.
