The Equinox Deck

The Equinox Deck is part of the Residency Hotel over in Zone I of M P Nagar in Bhopal. We’re at number 208, right across from the Citibank. M P Nagar is a really busy commercial hub, so there are always cars and bikes everywhere outside. Our spot is a bit different because it’s a deck, so you can actually get a bit of air. We mostly see the office crowd coming in after they finish their shifts or people staying at the hotel who want to sit outside for a bit. It’s not a complicated setup. We have some tables and chairs, a kitchen that puts out food, and a bar area. The staff here are used to the Bhopal weather, whether it’s the dry heat or the monsoon rains. We just try to keep the place organized so that when a group shows up, we have a spot for them. It’s a lot of moving chairs around and wiping down tables. We don't really have a big story about our vision or anything like that. We just open the deck in the evening, turn on the lights, and start serving. It’s a good place to watch the traffic down on the street without being right in the middle of it. We’ve been here in M P Nagar for a while, and we just keep doing our thing every night, just like the other businesses around us.
