Sumit Hair Salon

Sumit Hair Salon is located at Plot No. 28-29, in Shop No. A-1. We are situated inside the main road area of Trilanga in Bhopal. If you are looking for us, we are quite near the A.F.C. building. The shop has been here for a good while. It’s a small, practical space. We have a few chairs and the basic stuff needed to cut hair. It’s not one of those expensive places you see in the city center. We keep things very simple here. Most of the people who come in are from the surrounding neighborhood. They want a basic haircut or a shave, and that is what we provide. The walls are painted a plain color and we have some old pictures of hairstyles hanging up, though nobody really asks for those anymore. People just want to look tidy. Bhopal can get very warm, so we keep the door open to get a breeze. There’s a bench where people can sit and wait their turn. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded on the weekends. We don't have a fancy booking system. You just walk in and wait. We talk to our customers about their families or their work while we handle the clippers. It’s a steady kind of life. We start our day when the sun is up and stay open until it gets dark. The floor always needs sweeping, and the towels need washing. It’s just a local shop doing its bit for the neighborhood.
