Style Lounge Salon

Style Lounge Salon is over in Bhopal, tucked into the E/3/283 block of Shahpura Arera Colony. We are right near the Samaj Mandir, which makes it easy for people to find us if they aren't from this immediate part of the colony. The shop is a bit different from the old-style roadside barbers. I’ve tried to make it a bit more comfortable with some cushioned chairs and a better light setup. The walls are painted a neutral color, and I keep the place as tidy as I can. Even though we call it a lounge, it’s still just a local spot where neighbors come to talk and get their hair trimmed. You’ll often hear people chatting about what’s happening in the colony or asking about each other's families. I use a mix of electric trimmers and traditional scissors, depending on what someone wants. The mirrors are big and clear, and I make sure to clean them every single morning before the first customer arrives. Sometimes the power goes out, which is common enough in Bhopal, and we just have to wait it out or work by the light from the door. It’s a relaxed atmosphere, not like those big corporate places in the malls where everything feels rushed. We take our time, make sure the sideburns are even, and use a bit of cream at the end. It’s just a steady, honest way to make a living and serve the people living around Arera Colony.
