You can find Sonu Ledies And Gents Beauty Parlour over at 40, Old Mal Quarters. We’re right by Jawahar Chowk in Bhopal. It’s a busy little area, especially being so close to the Rechana Girl Hostel. I opened this place to handle both men and women because families in this neighborhood prefer going to one spot. The shop is in an older building, so it has some character, even if the walls could use a new coat of paint soon. We do basic threading, hair cutting, and sometimes a bit of makeup if someone has a function to attend. It’s mostly me and my family helping out. We know almost everyone on this block. The Old Mal Quarters can be a bit crowded with parking, but people usually find a way. I like the bustle of Jawahar Chowk. It feels alive. We have a few hair dryers that make a lot of noise, and the radio is usually playing some old songs. It’s not a spa or anything. It’s just a parlour where you can get cleaned up for the day. I keep the prices where people can afford them without thinking twice. If you're near the hostel, you’ll see our door. We’re usually there from morning until late evening when the street lights come on. It’s a decent place for a haircut or a quick threading job.
