Silvi Gents Parlour

We’ve been here at Shop No-3 on Pushpa Nagar Road for a while now. If you know Bhopal, you know how busy Chankyapuri Square gets, especially in the evenings when everyone is heading home from work. Our shop isn't anything fancy with flashing lights or expensive decor. It’s just a place where you can sit down and get your hair cut or a shave without much fuss. The fans keep spinning to fight the Bhopal heat, though sometimes it still feels a bit warm inside when the shop is full. Most of our customers are guys from around Pushpa Nagar who just want to look decent for their jobs or a family function. We’ve got the usual chairs and mirrors that have seen a lot of faces over the years. Some people come in and don't say much, while others like to talk about what's happening in the neighborhood. We keep the floor swept as much as we can, but on busy Saturdays, the hair piles up pretty quick. It’s a simple setup. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us working the chairs. We know most of the people who walk through the door by name because they've been coming here for ages. If you’re passing by the road near the square, you’ll see our sign. It’s nothing special, just a local spot for a haircut. We try to keep things moving so nobody has to wait too long out in the sun.
