Shivam Parlour

Shivam Parlour is located right at the Bairagarh Bus Stand at Shop No-25. If you have ever taken a bus around here in Bhopal, you have probably seen our sign. It is a very busy spot because of all the travelers and people waiting for their rides. We get a lot of men coming in who are just passing through and need a quick shave or a trim before they head out on their journey. The noise from the buses and the conductors shouting is something we have gotten used to over the years. It is a small shop, but we keep the chairs ready. We don't really do anything complicated, just the standard hair cutting and grooming that most guys want. Sometimes it gets dusty because of the road, so we spend a lot of time cleaning the floors and the shelves. We’ve been part of the Bairagarh area for a long time, so we know the other shopkeepers around the bus stand well. It’s a practical place for a parlor because everyone knows where the bus stand is. We start early in the morning when the first buses start moving. There is no point in having a fancy place here; people just want a reliable spot to get their hair cut without waiting too long. We just try to keep the scissors sharp and the water warm for the shaves. It is a steady way to spend the day for us.
