Shikha Sweet & Restaurant

Our shop is right on Mangalwara Road in Bhopal. If you know where the Mangalwara Police Thana is, we are just near that. Lakhpati Bhavan is the building. It is a busy street, always lots of people walking by and cars honking. We have the sweet counter at the front because that is what most people stop for. We make fresh batches every morning. Behind that, there is the restaurant area where people sit down for a meal. It is not a huge space, but we fit in as many tables as we can without making it too tight. The floor gets a bit dusty because of the road outside, so we are always sweeping. We have got a few regulars who come in every single day for their tea and snacks. The kitchen stays pretty warm, especially in the summer months. We do basic North Indian food and local Bhopal snacks. Nothing fancy, just the stuff people like to eat for lunch or a quick snack. Sometimes the power goes out, but we deal with it. It is just how things are in this part of town. The staff knows most of the neighbors. We have been at this address for a while now. If you are looking for us, just look for the sign near the police station. We do not do much advertising, word of mouth works fine for us. We just keep the food ready and hope people enjoy their meal without any fuss.
