Shan E Bhopal Rail Restaurant

We are over here at Shan E Bhopal Rail Restaurant, right inside the Lake View Ashok Hotel area in Shamla Hills. Being opposite the Doordarshan Premises makes us pretty easy to find if you are driving around this part of Bhopal. The whole idea here is centered around that rail theme, which is something you don't see every day. We've been at this for a while now. Most people come by because they're staying at the hotel or just walking around Shamla Hills looking for something to eat. It gets busy at times, especially when there are events nearby, but we just keep doing our thing. The staff here mostly knows the regulars. We aren't trying to be anything too fancy despite the big hotel name attached to the address. It’s just a spot to sit down, maybe look at the lake views if you're in the right spot, and have a meal. We don't spend a lot of time worrying about being the most polished place in town. We just open up the doors every day and get the kitchen moving. If you've been to Shamla Hills, you probably know where the Doordarshan building is, so we are just across from that. It’s a quiet enough area most of the time. We just try to make sure people have a place to sit and eat without too much fuss. It is what it is, a rail-themed spot in a nice part of Bhopal.
