Shahi Haveli Bar & Restaurant

We are located at 238, M P Nagar in Bhopal, right across the street from DB City Mall. It is Zone No 1, so there is always something going on outside our door. Being a bar and restaurant means we have a different kind of crowd depending on the time of day. In the afternoon, it is mostly people looking for a quiet lunch. In the evening, it gets a lot louder when people come in for a drink after their office shifts are done. M P Nagar is full of banks and offices, so it is a very business-heavy area. We have been here for a while and the building has its quirks. The air conditioning sometimes struggles when it’s really hot outside, but we do our best to keep it cool. We don’t use any polished marketing language here. We are just regular people serving food and drinks. The kitchen staff stays busy in the back, and the waiters move between the tables. It is a lot of work to manage both the bar and the food side of things. Sometimes we have issues with the supply of certain spirits or the vegetables don't look good at the market, so we have to adjust. It’s just how it is running a business in Bhopal. We just try to keep the atmosphere relaxed so people can unwind after a long day. It’s a steady job and we like the people who come in regularly.
