Salman Hair Saloon

Our shop is tucked away in Sultanabad, over in the Kotra area of Bhopal. It’s a quiet enough part of town most of the time, which we like. We’ve been cutting hair here for a while, and the neighborhood knows exactly where to find us. It’s not a big place, just enough room for the chairs and some space for people to wait their turn. We don't have fancy decorations on the walls, just the usual calendars and maybe a small TV that’s usually on the news or a cricket match. People come in from the nearby houses when they have a free hour. It’s mostly just regular haircuts and shaves for the local men. We see a lot of students and office workers who live around Kotra. Some days are busier than others, especially on weekends when everyone has time off and wants to clean up for the week. We just try to keep the scissors sharp and the floor swept. It’s a simple business. We don't use any of those big marketing tricks you see in the malls. Word of mouth is how people hear about us. If someone likes their cut, they tell their friend, and that’s how we stay busy. It’s nice being a local fixture in Sultanabad. You get to know what’s going on in everyone’s lives while you work. We just show up every morning, open the shutters, and wait for the first person to walk through.
