Saba Salon

This is Saba Salon. We are over at Shop No 20/30 on Raisen Road. If you know where Bogda Pul is, we are right there in that area of Bhopal. The zip code is 462026. It’s a busy part of town. There are always trucks and cars passing by on the main road. We’ve been at this spot for a good amount of time. The shop is a bit old, but we keep it going. We do hair and some basic face stuff. It’s mostly local women who live nearby that visit us. We have two chairs and a small bench for waiting. Sometimes children come in with their mothers and it gets a bit loud. We don't mind. It's just part of life here near Raisen Road. We don't have a big team. It’s just me and one other girl. We started small and stayed small. The light in the shop is okay, but we use a big bulb near the mirror to see better. People come here because it's convenient. We are close to the bridge. You can see the sign from the street. We don't have air conditioning, just a ceiling fan that makes a clicking noise. It works fine though. We use regular towels and wash them every day at home. There is nothing special about how we work. We just do the jobs people ask for. It's a simple life in Bhopal. We usually close up once the sun goes down and the street lights come on.
