Roseberry Saloon

Our place is right at Jawahar Chowk in Bhopal. It’s one of those spots where there is always something going on outside the door. If you know the 462016 area, you know how busy this junction gets with all the buses and bikes passing through. We open up the shutters every morning and start by cleaning up the hair from the day before. The mirrors need a good wipe and the chairs are a bit old but they are comfortable enough for a quick cut. We have been in this part of Bhopal for a while, so we know most of the people who walk past. Sometimes someone just stops in to say hello or ask for the time. We don't really do anything fancy here, just regular haircuts and shaves for the local guys. The lights are a bit bright and the radio is usually playing some old songs in the background. When it rains, the water splashes right up to the step, so we have to keep a mop handy. It’s a small shop but it stays busy enough to keep us on our feet all day. People from the nearby markets come in when they have a break from their own stalls. We try to keep things simple and honest. There isn't much to say about us other than we are just a local saloon trying to do our work for the neighborhood. We are usually here from morning until the sun goes down and the street starts to get a little quieter as people head home for their dinners.
