A lot of people find us by looking for Chhappan Bhog because we are situated exactly above it. You can often smell the food from downstairs while we are working up here. Being Shop No. 7, we get a lot of light from the windows. This place isn't just for getting ready; we also teach people how to do beauty work. There are always students around practicing how to hold a thread or apply a pack. It gets a bit crowded with all the chairs and the training tables, but we manage. The bus stop is always busy, so there is a constant hum of engines and people talking outside. We’ve been in this part of Bhopal 462001 for a while now. The stairs up to the first floor are a bit steep, so we tell everyone to be careful when they come up. We use a lot of herbal stuff here because that’s what we like and what we know. It’s a practical space. We don't have any fancy decorations on the walls, just some charts for the students and a few mirrors for the customers. It’s a busy life balancing the training and the parlour work, but it keeps us on our toes every single day. We don't mind the noise or the crowds at all.
