Pushpraj Gents Parlour

Pushpraj Gents Parlour is on Hamidia Road in Bhopal. We are at Shop Number 12, which is quite close to the bus stand. Because of that, we see a lot of people who are just passing through town or coming in for work. The shop is a simple place. I didn't want anything too fancy when I opened it. It's just a spot where men can come to get their hair cut or a shave without any fuss. We have a few chairs and the mirrors are old but they work fine. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded on Saturday mornings, so you might have to wait on the bench for a few minutes. I usually have the radio on or maybe the news playing. It’s a local business and we don't have a big corporate office or anything like that. It's just me and a couple of others doing the work every day. We know most of the people who live around here by their faces if not their names. We talk about the local news or how the weather is changing. It's honest work and we like it that way. The floor gets covered in hair quickly but we try to keep it swept up between customers. We don't use any of those expensive products you see in malls. Just the standard stuff that does the job. If you need a trim and you're near the station, you'll see our sign out front.
