Om Kum Beauty Parlour

Om Kum Beauty Parlour is at Shop No 17 in Yes Baba Colony. This is in the Housing Board area of Karond, Bhopal. It’s a residential neighborhood, so it is usually quite peaceful around here compared to the main city. Our shop is just a small space in the market area of the colony. We started it because there weren't many places nearby for the ladies to go. Most of our customers are housewives or students living in the Karond area. They just walk over from their homes. Inside, we’ve got the basic stuff—mirrors, chairs, and some shelves for our supplies. It is a very informal atmosphere. People come in not just for the services but also to catch up on the local gossip or just have a rest. We don’t have a big staff, usually just one or two of us working. The Housing Board area has grown a lot lately, so we see new faces once in a while. We aren't looking to become a big chain or anything. We just like having our little spot in Yes Baba Colony. The shop is easy to find if you are familiar with the Karond area. We keep the lights on and the door open for whoever needs us. It’s a simple life running a parlour here. We just take things one day at a time and try to stay helpful to the women who live nearby. It is a quiet but steady life.
