You can find us at Shop Number 12 on Neem Road. We’re in the Jahangirabad area of Bhopal, right near the Police Chowki. It’s a handy spot because everyone knows where the chowki is. We mostly do men’s haircuts and shaves. The shop isn’t very big, but we make it work with the space we have. There are mirrors along the wall and some chairs for waiting. Usually, it’s quite lively with music playing or the news on the small TV. We see all kinds of people, from students to older men who’ve lived in Jahangirabad forever. Neem Road can get pretty crowded, especially in the evenings. We stay open pretty late to make sure everyone gets their turn. It’s just a regular neighborhood salon. Nothing too special about the decor, just the basics you need for a good haircut. We use the same combs and clippers every day. Sometimes we’re short-staffed and the wait gets long, but we try to move as fast as we can without rushing the actual cut. It’s a decent living and we like being part of the local community near the station and the police post. The shop door stays open to let some air in, and you can hear the bikes going by on the street. It’s nothing more than a place to get a trim and maybe hear a bit of local news while you wait for your turn.
