National Hair Saloon 4

Our shop is over on Sultania Road in Bhopal, specifically at Shop No 13 near the Nara Complex. It’s a busy road and we are close to the Koke Fiza Thana, so there are always police and people moving around the area. This is the fourth branch of National Hair Saloon, but it feels just like a small family shop. We have the basic setup for a barber shop—sturdy chairs, big mirrors, and all our tools laid out on the counter. It isn't a place with marble floors or soft music; it’s a real shop where men come to get their hair cut and talk about what’s happening in the city. We have some fans on the ceiling to keep the Bhopal heat away, and we keep the doors open to the street. The floor gets covered in hair pretty quickly, but we have a broom handy. We see all kinds of people, from young guys looking for a new style to older men who have been coming to us for years. It’s a very grounded place. We don't have a big marketing plan or anything; we just rely on the fact that we’ve been on Sultania Road for a while and people know where to find us. Usually, there is some conversation going on between the chairs, mostly about local news or sports. It’s just a normal part of the day for us. We stay open late so that people can stop by after they finish their work and get cleaned up.
