Mohit Hair Cutting Saloon is over in Bairagarh, Bhopal. We are situated right on the Bus Stand Road, which means there is never a quiet moment. The buses are constantly pulling in and out, and there is a lot of dust that comes in from the street. We have to wipe down the counters quite often because of it. The shop is a simple place with the basic tools needed for cutting hair. We have a few chairs for the customers and a bench for those waiting. Most of the people who come in are either travelers from the bus stand or locals who live in the Bairagarh area. We see a lot of different faces every day. The shop is not very large, so it can get a bit cramped when it’s raining outside and everyone wants to stay dry. We have a small radio that usually plays some film songs or the news. The water spray bottle is always full, and we have a pile of clean towels ready for each morning. It’s a lot of standing on your feet all day, but we are used to it. We don't have any fancy decorations on the walls, just a calendar and maybe a clock that runs a few minutes fast. It’s just a normal shop for people who need a quick haircut without any trouble. We close up once the buses stop running late at night.
