Malik Hair Saloons

Malik Hair Saloons is located on Aish Bagh Road in the Barkhedi area of Bhopal. This is a very traditional part of the city. We’ve been here at this spot for a long time, and the neighborhood knows us well. The shop isn't fancy at all. We have the usual chairs, big mirrors, and the sound of the radio playing in the background. Most of our customers are men from the nearby streets who want a clean shave or a simple haircut. We don't do all those new styles you see on TV, just the classics that look good. The street outside is always busy with cycles and people walking to work. In the summers, it gets very dusty, so we are always cleaning the floor. We don't have an air conditioner, just a couple of strong ceiling fans that do the job. It’s a place where men come to talk about politics or the local news while they wait their turn. We don't take appointments; you just show up and wait on the wooden bench. My brothers and I run the place together. It’s how we make our living. We aren't looking to become a big chain or anything like that. We just like being part of Barkhedi and serving the people who live here. It's a plain and simple shop for a plain and simple haircut.
