Our shop, Kaya Beauty Parlour Gents And Ladies, is situated at Shop No. 1 in New Market. We are right in the Mahila Market section of Bhopal, 462003. Since we are in New Market, it's always crowded outside. People are always shopping for clothes or shoes. Our shop handles both men and women. We have a partition in the middle so everyone has their own space. It’s not a very big shop, but we make use of the room we have. My husband takes care of the gents' side and I handle the ladies' side. We’ve been in this market for years. You see a lot of different people here. Some are regulars, some are just passing through while shopping. We have simple chairs and mirrors. We don't use those fancy digital systems for appointments. People just show up and wait their turn. We offer basic services like hair cutting, shaving, and some skin work. New Market is the heart of Bhopal, so we stay open quite late. The tea stall next door brings us chai twice a day. It’s a busy life. Sometimes we get tired, but the work is steady. We don't have a big marketing budget. The sign board above the door is enough for us. It’s a practical business for a practical area. We just keep our scissors sharp and the floor clean. That’s about it for us. We just keep going day after day, helping whoever walks through the door.
