Jessica Beauty Parlour

Jessica Beauty Parlour is right here in M P Nagar, over in Bhopal. We are situated near the Tata Show Room, which makes it pretty easy for folks to find us when they are out running errands. I started this place a few years back because I wanted something of my own close to home. The shop isn't anything fancy or huge, but it does the job for the ladies around here. Most days start around ten in the morning when I unlock the door and start setting out the towels. We get a lot of regulars who just want their eyebrows done or maybe a quick hair wash. Sometimes the ceiling fan makes a little clicking noise that I keep meaning to fix, but nobody seems to mind much. We talk about everything from the local weather to what’s happening in the market. The chairs are getting a bit worn at the edges now, but they are still comfortable to sit in for an hour. M P Nagar gets quite busy with traffic in the evenings, so it can get a bit loud outside with all the horns. I usually have some water or tea ready if someone has to wait a few minutes. It is just me and one other girl working most shifts. We don't have a big fancy sign, just the one over the door. It’s a simple life running a parlour in this part of town and I like it.
