Harsh Gents Beauty Parlour

Harsh Gents Beauty Parlour is located at Shop No-39 in Gautam Nagar, Bhopal. We are very close to the Chetak Bridge, so you can often hear the sound of vehicles going over the bridge throughout the day. The shop is a simple ground-floor unit in a row of other small businesses. I have been here for a while and the neighborhood feels like home now. Inside, there are two main chairs and a bench for people to wait on while they read the newspaper. I keep a few bottles of aftershave and some cans of foam on the counter, nothing too expensive or fancy. The floor is old concrete that I painted grey a few years ago. It is a place where local men come to get a quick haircut or a beard trim without having to spend too much money. I usually start work around ten in the morning and stay until late evening. The air is often thick with the smell of talcum powder and cheap cologne. Sometimes I stand outside the door for a minute just to stretch my back and watch the people walking toward the bridge. It is a honest living and I know most of the people who walk through the door by their first name. We talk about cricket or the local news while I work. By the time I lock up, the bridge lights are usually shining bright.
