Geeta Herbal Beauty Parlour

Geeta Herbal Beauty Parlour is over in the Aish Bagh area of Bhopal. Specifically, we are on Mahamaika Baghstation Road, near Pushpa Nagar. It is an old part of town and can get quite busy with the traffic from the station. We call ourselves a herbal parlour because we try to use more natural things like henna and various pastes we mix up ourselves. The shop is a small room we have converted to fit a few stations. It isn't a fancy place with bright lights, just a regular spot for women in the neighborhood. We handle a lot of hair coloring and basic skin care. Many of our customers have been coming to us for years, ever since they were young. We know all the family stories by now. The work is steady and we enjoy the rhythm of it. We spend our mornings setting things up and the afternoons are usually the busiest when the sun is high. We keep a lot of our supplies in jars on the shelves. It smells a bit like dried leaves and herbs inside, which is nice. Sometimes the noise from the road is a bit much, but once you are inside, it feels different. We just keep our heads down and do the work. It is a simple business run by people who live right here in Bhopal.
