Badmi Hair Saloon

Badmi Hair Saloon is over in the Shahajanabad area of Bhopal. We are specifically at Shop No-68. If you know where Kabadkhanashajanabad is, we are very close to that spot. It's an old part of town and we've been part of the landscape here for years. The shop is small and tucked away, but we like the location. It's mostly locals who come in. We do the regular stuff, mostly hair cutting and beard grooming. Nothing too stylish, just what people need for their daily lives. The chairs are old but they are comfortable enough. We use simple tools. No fancy machines here. Most days start with a cup of tea and then we wait for the first customer. It can get quite noisy outside with the traffic and people moving around, but inside it's just the sound of scissors. Sometimes the power goes out, but we keep working with the door open for light. It's a family business at the end of the day. My uncle used to sit in that corner, and now I do. We don't try to be anything we aren't. Just a local barber shop where you can get a decent cut for a fair price. We see the same faces every month. That's just how it is here in Shahajanabad. It’s a small space but it has everything we need.
