Anjusha Beauty Parlour

Anjusha Beauty Parlour is tucked away in Chanakyapuri, specifically at Flat No-10 on the 1st Floor of a building on J K Road in Bhopal. It is Room No-1, so it’s not a big commercial storefront you’d see on a main street. It’s more of a quiet, private space. Since we are on the first floor, people have to walk up the stairs to find us. J K Road is quite a long stretch, but once you get into the Chanakyapuri side, it feels a bit more like a neighborhood. We handle various beauty tasks for the ladies who live in the surrounding flats. The room is set up with some chairs and the usual tools for threading and hair. It’s a bit cramped when there are more than two people, but we manage just fine. Being in a flat makes it feel less like a shop and more like someone’s home. We have some curtains up and the lighting is okay for what we need to do. Bhopal can get really dusty, so we spend a lot of time wiping down the counters. We don't do any big advertising, people just find out about us from their neighbors. We start our work after the morning chores are done and stay open until the evening. It’s a steady routine here in Chanakyapuri, nothing too exciting but it keeps us busy. We just keep things simple for the ladies who come by.
