Anita Parlour

Anita Parlour is tucked away in the Shahajanabad area of Bhopal, right near the Baug Byali Ground on Purani Adalat Road. It's a quiet enough spot compared to the main market, which I think the ladies around here appreciate. I've been running this parlour from this location for a while now. It’s not a huge commercial space, just a comfortable room where women can come to get their eyebrows done, get a facial, or maybe some henna for a festival. I try to keep the atmosphere relaxed. We have some old magazines to read and the walls are decorated with a few simple pictures I found over the years. Most of my clients are women who live in the houses right nearby. They might walk over in the afternoon when their kids are at school or after they’ve finished cooking. We talk about our families and what’s happening in the neighborhood while I work. It feels more like a community gathering spot than a cold business. I do all the work myself most of the time. I like to take my time and make sure things are done right, whether it’s a simple wax or a more detailed bridal makeup job. Being near the old court road gives the area a bit of history. It's a humble business, but it's mine, and I'm happy to be serving the local women here in Bhopal. We just keep things practical and honest every single day for everyone who visits.
