The Gurukul Campus is a big place on Sahjanand Swami Marg. That’s where you will find us in Bhavnagar. Being a college for commerce and management, we deal with a lot of numbers and business books. The Gujarat sun can be very strong, so the building stays quite hot in the summer months. We have many students coming in from different parts of the city. The campus has a certain feel to it because of the Gurukul setting. It’s not just a modern glass building; it has a more traditional look. We spend our days in the office handling fees and admissions. The students are usually grouped together in the hallways talking about their next class or exams. We have some computers for the management work, but a lot of things are still done the old-fashioned way with paper. Shree Swaminarayan College has been a part of this community for a while. People know the name well. We don't put on an act of being some high-end corporate office. It is a school for learning. The desks are crowded together in some rooms because we have so many students. We just try to make sure everyone has a seat and a teacher in front of them. Life here is busy and loud, just like the rest of Bhavnagar. We have a tea stall just outside the main gate where everyone goes during the long breaks to get away from the books.
