Shree P.M. Patel College Of Education

This place is located in the Jagdishwaranand Society in Shihor. It is right opposite the Government Rest House which is a landmark everyone knows around here. We are in the Bhavnagar district of Gujarat. Being in this part of the country means we deal with a lot of heat in the summer months. The college building is a big part of the society area. It has been standing for a while and shows a bit of its age in the corners. We have classrooms and a main office where we handle all the student papers. It is not a very modern place but it is functional and serves the community well. You can see the rest house from our front gate. Most of the staff lives nearby so we all walk or ride bikes to get here in the morning. We have some trees in the courtyard that provide a bit of shade during the afternoon breaks. The floors are stone and stay relatively cool even when it is blazing outside. We don't have a lot of fancy technology but we have what we need to teach. People in the society are friendly and we see the same faces every day. It is a quiet life in Shihor and we are just here doing our part for the local education system. The address is simple and the people are even simpler.
