If you know the Rajkot Highway in Bhavnagar, you probably know how busy it gets. We are located right in Nyaldas Complex at Shop No. 7. It’s a handy spot for people living around Shashtri Nagar. The shop isn't huge, but we managed to fit enough desks for the groups that come in after school hours. Being on the highway means there is always noise from the trucks and buses passing by, but once you step inside, it’s mostly just the sound of pens scratching on paper. We started this place because there was a need for someone to help with school subjects in this part of town. The stairs up to the complex can be a bit steep, so we tell everyone to watch their step. Inside, things are pretty basic. No bright neon signs or anything like that. We have some posters on the walls, mostly schedules and a few maps. It gets pretty warm in the afternoons, but the fans keep things moving. We usually stay late, sometimes until eight or nine, depending on when the last student finishes their work. It’s a lot of manual work, keeping track of everyone’s progress without any fancy software. Just notebooks and a lot of patience. Most of the families around here have our number saved. We aren't trying to be anything other than a local spot where students can sit down and focus for a couple of hours.
