Shree Man Mandir School

You can find Shree Man Mandir School out on Bhavnagar Road in Botad. It sits right there in the Bhavnagar district, and it’s a pretty easy place to spot if you’re driving by. The road is always moving with trucks and buses, so there’s a lot of dust and noise coming from the street. Our school has a big gate and a yard where the students gather before things get started for the day. It’s a fairly large place because we get kids coming in from all over the surrounding areas. Inside, the rooms are plain but they have enough space for everyone to sit and do their work. We’ve got the usual blackboards and wooden benches that have seen a lot of use over the years. Some of the windows don't close quite right, but the breeze is nice when it’s hot outside. The staff spends most of their time just managing the hundreds of students who walk through the doors every morning. It’s a lot of work to keep it all running, but the routine stays the same year after year. We don't have any big slogans or anything; we just open the doors and get to it. By the time the afternoon heat hits, the place is full of energy until it’s time for everyone to head back home down the main road. The gate finally closes once the last teacher leaves and the sun starts setting over the fields.
