Shri Sunrise Eng Medium Madh.Shala is situated on Songadh Road in Palitana. It’s a place that gets quite a bit of traffic from people heading towards Bhavnagar. We are an English medium school, but we keep things very local and down-to-earth. The building is right there on the road, so we hear the buses and trucks passing by all day. Our students come from the surrounding villages and the town itself. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles. The classrooms are simple, with desks that have seen a lot of use over the years. We spend our time teaching the kids their lessons and making sure they understand their English books. It’s a lot of repetition and practice. The staff room is usually a busy place where we sit and grade papers during the breaks. During the monsoon, the road gets a bit muddy, but the kids still make it to class. We start in the morning with prayers and end in the afternoon when the sun is high. It’s a straightforward life, and we are just happy to be part of the education scene in this part of Bhavnagar. We don't try to be anything special, just a place for kids to study and learn.
