Gyanjyot High School

Gyanjyot High School is located in Mahuva, which is down in the Bhavnagar area of Gujarat. If you know the town, you know it can be a bit busy with all the local trade and people moving around. The school is right there in the middle of it all. We have been operating for a while now, and the building shows its age a little bit, but it’s sturdy enough. The pincode here is 364290. Every morning, the streets around the school get crowded with students making their way to class. It’s a high school, so the kids are a bit older and have a lot on their minds. We don’t have a big shiny sign or anything fancy. Just the name on the wall so people know they’ve arrived at the right place. Inside, it’s mostly just rows of benches and boards. It’s not the quietest place because of the traffic noise outside, but you get used to it after a couple of days. Bhavnagar weather can be a bit humid, so we keep the windows open mostly to catch any breeze. We don’t really have any big mission statements written on the walls. We just show up, open the gates, and start the day. The teachers here live nearby for the most part, so everyone knows everyone else. It’s a local school for the families who live in Mahuva and need a place for their children to finish their studies.
