You can find us at Shop No 7 in the Nagar Palica Shopping Center. We are right in Jambusar, which is a part of Bharuch. The shopping center is a local hub, so there is always something going on near the Sankari Bhagod area. Our shop is quite small, but we manage to fit everything we need inside. It’s a basic setup with the kitchen taking up most of the space and a few spots for people to stand or sit. We start our day by setting up the stoves and getting the ingredients chopped. Since it’s a government shopping center, it has a specific feel to it, very different from the new malls in the bigger cities. The floor is old tile and the walls are plain. We don't have a website or any of that stuff. We just open up and wait for the locals to stop by. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, so we just have to wait it out. It’s a simple life here in Jambusar. We know most of the people who walk by every day. The noise from the market outside is the soundtrack to our work. We aren't trying to be the most popular place around, just a reliable one for the people who live and work nearby. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning to night. Nothing fancy, just a local shop in a busy center.
