Darbar Nasta House

Darbar Nasta House is over on Station Road in Bharuch. We are at 255/85 in the Jambusar Bazar area. Being so close to the Jambusar St Bus Stand means things start very early for us. The buses start rolling in before the sun is even fully up, and that’s when the first people come looking for something to eat. The bazar is always crowded and noisy, with people shouting and horns honking. Our place is small and stays pretty busy. We don't have much room for people to lounge around, so it's usually eat and go. The tables are basic and we’ve got benches that have seen a lot of use over the years. You can hear the conductors calling out bus destinations right from our door. It gets hot in the kitchen part, especially when the morning rush is happening. We focus on getting the food out and keeping the counters clean. Sometimes we run out of things if the crowd is bigger than usual. The floor gets a bit dusty from all the feet coming in from the station road. We’ve been in this spot for a while now, so the local shopkeepers all know us. It’s a loud, hectic place but it feels right for being next to a bus stand. We just keep the stove going and wait for the next bus to pull in with hungry passengers. The morning light hits the bazar just right through the front door.
