Shree Khodiyar Kathiyawadi Dhaba

We’ve been here at the Bhagwati Enclave Complex for quite a while now. Most people know us because we are right opposite Goverdhan Hospital, just a bit away from the ABC Circle in Bharuch. It’s a busy spot, especially in the evenings when families start coming in. We keep things pretty simple around here. It’s a dhaba, so don’t expect anything too fancy or over the top. We just cook the kind of Kathiyawadi food we grew up eating. Sometimes the place gets a bit loud with the kitchen noises and people talking, but that’s just how it is. We start early in the day to get the masalas and everything ready. The location helps because people travelling through Bharuch see our sign and stop for a quick meal. It’s not a huge place, but we manage to fit everyone in somehow. We’ve seen the area around ABC Circle change quite a bit over the years, but we’re still here doing the same thing. You’ll mostly see us busy near the stoves or clearing tables. We don’t really do much advertising; word of mouth from the locals and hospital visitors keeps us going. If you are looking for a place that feels like a regular kitchen, that is what we have here. We try to keep the spices right and the rotis hot. It's just a regular local spot for anyone who wants a decent meal without any fuss. It’s been this way since day one.
