S. S. Chemical

S. S. Chemical is based out of Plot No. 827/7 in the GIDC Mega Estate. It’s a large estate, and it took us a little while to get settled into this specific spot when we first moved in. Being in the Mega Estate means there is always something going on nearby, with trucks coming and going at all hours and the sound of other factories. We keep a fairly tight schedule here. Since we deal with chemicals, we have to be practical about how we store everything. It’s not about being fancy; it’s about making sure everything is in the right place so we can find it when we need it. Our office is just a small corner with a couple of desks and a filing cabinet that’s seen better days. We don't spend much time sitting there anyway. Most of the work happens in the back where the containers are kept. We’ve got a small group of workers who know the smells and the textures of the products we handle daily. We don't really do much in the way of advertising or marketing. Usually, people find us because they need what we have and they know we are here at plot 827/7. The work is repetitive sometimes, but it’s what we know how to do. We make sure the drums are sealed and the labels are on straight before they leave. It’s just honest work in a busy industrial park. We try to stay out of the way of the bigger companies.
