Luna Chemicals is located way out in the GIDC Industrial Estate in Dahej. We actually take up a few plots here—6, 7, 8, and 9. If you’ve ever been to Dahej, you know it’s a huge place with a lot of big plants and heat. Our facility is where we put in the hard work every day. It’s a large industrial site, so there’s a lot of walking back and forth between the different sections. We deal with chemical production and it’s a 24/7 kind of environment for most of us. The air always has that industrial smell to it, and the sound of the machinery never really stops. We have a team that’s been together for quite a while, and we’ve seen the Dahej area grow from almost nothing to this massive hub. It’s not the most glamorous place to work, especially during the summer months when the temperature climbs, but we’ve got our systems down. We focus on getting the batches right and making sure the tankers are loaded on time. In the office part of the building, it’s mostly about logistics and making sure the supplies are coming in. We don't have a fancy lobby with plants. It’s all practical—desks, computers, and a lot of safety gear hanging on the pegs by the door. We just focus on being a reliable part of the supply chain from our spot in the estate.
