Gujarat Flurochemicals Ltd.

Working at GIDC in Dahej is quite something, especially during the summer heat. Gujarat Flurochemicals Ltd. is located at 12/A, and it’s a big site with plenty of activity. We have lots of tanks and pipes running everywhere across the plot. Most of the guys here live nearby or commute from the city every day. It’s a chemical plant, so there’s always something happening with the production lines. We spend a lot of time checking gauges and making sure everything is running right. The area is purely industrial, so there aren't many places to eat around here besides the basic canteen. We've been at this spot for years. The trucks come and go at all hours, day and night. It's noisy, but you get used to the hum of the machinery after a few days on the job. We don't really do much office work here; it's mostly physical labor on the floor. The safety gear is a bit heavy and annoying, but it’s part of the job. Sometimes we have tea breaks under the shade near the gate when things are quiet. It's a steady place to work for the local community. We just focus on the batches we need to finish by the end of the week. The 12/A plot is easy to find once you enter the estate. It’s a rough environment but the people are good.
