Sika India Pvt. Ltd. is based at Plot No 916 in the Gidc Mega Estate. The estate is huge and it can be a bit of a headache to find our specific plot if you aren't familiar with the layout. We mostly handle supplies and products for construction and repairs. Our warehouse is the biggest part of the building and it is always full of bags, buckets, and pallets. It gets quite dusty in there, especially when we are moving things around with the forklift. We have a small group of workers who handle the loading and they've been doing it for a long time. We don't have a showroom with bright lights. It is just a practical space where we store things and get them ready for delivery. There are always trucks coming and going through the main gate, which keeps us pretty busy during the day. We drink a lot of chai in the small break area and talk about whatever is going on in the neighborhood. It is a regular industrial job and we don't try to pretend it is anything else. We don't use any corporate jargon or have long meetings. If the phone rings, someone just picks it up and answers the question. We know the products we keep in the warehouse and we just try to get them to the people who need them.
