So, we are over at 42/4 in the GIDC Industrial Estate, right on Amod Road in Dahej. If you know this part of Gujarat, you know it gets pretty dusty and hot during the day. Most of us have been coming to this same spot for years now. The office isn't anything fancy, just some desks and a lot of filing cabinets that have seen better days. Every morning the trucks start lining up outside on the road, and you can hear the noise from the plants nearby. It is a busy place, honestly. We usually spend the first part of the morning just getting the logs sorted and making sure the shifts are ready. Someone usually brings in tea around ten, which is probably the best part of the morning. The walls could use a new coat of paint, but nobody really has time to worry about that right now. We just focus on the work that needs doing. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, or the internet acts up, and we all just kind of wait it out or find something else to do. It is just how it is working in an industrial zone like this. We have a small lunch room where most of us sit and talk about the news or how bad the traffic was on the way in. It is not a glamorous setup, but it is our daily routine here in Dahej and we are used to the pace.
