Palchin Chemicals

Palchin Chemicals is over at Plot No. 39/9 in the GIDC Mega Estate. We deal with various chemicals, so the place has its own distinct smell that you never really get out of your clothes or your hair. It is not a glamorous job. We spend a lot of time moving blue plastic drums around and making sure everything is stored exactly where it should be. The safety gear can be a bit of a hassle when it is forty degrees out in the middle of summer, but we wear it because we have to stay safe. Our office is just a small room with a window looking out onto the loading area so we can see who is coming. We do not have any fancy mission statements or corporate values posted up on the walls. Our value is just doing the work correctly so we do not have to do it a second time. The Mega Estate is a massive place, and we are just one small part of it at Plot 39/9. Most of our days are spent checking batches and writing out labels by hand. It is a quiet kind of work compared to the loud machine shops nearby, but it is still very busy. We have been here long enough that the truck drivers know exactly which gate to pull into. We just focus on the drums and the deliveries.
