Nanco Chemicals Pvt. Ltd. sits on Plot No. 774 in the Gidc Mega Estate, over near Dhanali village. It’s a bit of a trek for some of the staff who live in the city, but we’ve gotten used to the commute over the years. The area around Dhanali is a mix of industrial plots and some open land, so it feels a little different than the middle of town. Our plot is basically a large shed with an office tucked into the corner. We spend the day mixing, measuring, and loading stuff. It’s dirty work and nobody here wears a suit. Usually, you’ll see us in old clothes that we don't mind getting stained. The machinery we use is old but it works well enough if you know how to kick it in the right spot. We don’t really have any big meetings or anything corporate like that. Usually, we just talk over lunch or while we are waiting for a batch to finish. The power goes out sometimes, and we just sit outside until it comes back on. It’s a simple way of working. We aren't trying to change the world, just making sure the chemical orders get filled and the customers get what they asked for. The yard gets muddy when it rains, so we spend a lot of time mopping the office floor then. It’s just a regular workplace with regular people doing their daily jobs.
