If you ever find yourself over by Amity School in Bharuch, you will probably see the G.A.C.L. Colony right across the street. We are located in Quarter Number B-6 inside that colony. It has a bit of a residential feel to it since it is a company housing area, but we use this particular space for our administrative work and for keeping the local operations on track. Living and working in the same general area has its pros and cons, but it certainly makes getting to your desk in the morning a lot faster. The colony is usually pretty calm and quiet, though you can hear the school kids playing across the road during their afternoon breaks. We have a small, dedicated team working here. Our desks are usually covered with different papers because there is always something to keep track of with the alkali business. It is a very practical setup, nothing too modern or expensive looking. We just have the basic things we need to do our jobs properly. Sometimes we sit outside for a few minutes during our lunch break when the weather is not too hot. It is a nice community vibe here in this part of Bharuch. We have been based in B-6 for a long time, and almost everyone in the neighborhood knows who we are.
